For more than 30 years, the hospital now known as Advocate Animal Health has served the pets and people of the Taylors community with compassion, dedication, and a deep love for animals. Originally founded as Sunrise Animal Hospital by Dr. Colquhoun, the practice was built on a simple but powerful belief: pets deserve exceptional care, and the people who love them deserve honesty, kindness, and respect.
Over the decades, countless families have trusted Sunrise Animal Hospital with their beloved companions through every stage of life - from puppy and kitten visits to senior care and difficult end-of-life decisions. The relationships formed within these walls have become a meaningful part of the fabric of the Taylors community and beyond.
Today, Advocate Animal Health is honored to carry forward the legacy and commitment established by Dr. Colquhoun. As a family-owned and privately operated veterinary practice, our mission remains centered on providing compassionate, quality veterinary medicine while building lasting relationships with our clients and patients.
