Before your visit
To help your appointment go smoothly, please bring:
Our office actively practices “Fear Free” techniques to help ameliorate stress in your pet. Offering savory treats is one such approach. Please let our staff know if there are any known allergies or sensitivities that are present in you or your pet (peanut butter, etc.).

Dogs should arrive on a secure leash, and cats should be brought in a safe carrier. If your pet becomes anxious or fearful during veterinary visits, please let us know before your appointment so we can discuss ways to make the experience more comfortable.
Here's what you can expect
Our team will welcome you, confirm your information, and learn more about the reason for your visit. A veterinary team member will gather your pet's history and may record their weight and vital signs before the veterinarian begins the examination.
Please share anything you have noticed—even small changes can provide helpful clues about your pet's health.
Your veterinarian will perform a thorough physical examination and discuss any findings with you. Depending on your pet's age, health, and reason for the visit, we may recommend vaccinations, laboratory testing, imaging, dental care, medication, or other services.

We welcome your questions and want you to feel comfortable with the plan before moving forward.
Before you leave, we will review any medications, home-care instructions, follow-up appointments, or warning signs to watch for. If you have questions once you return home, please contact us. We would rather you call than remain uncertain about your pet's care.

We will work with you to develop a plan that considers your pet's medical needs, your goals, and your circumstances.
When advanced or specialized care is needed, we will help guide you toward an appropriate specialist or referral facility.
